Your Privacy Choices

This page describes the privacy choices available to you as a user of Holy Quran. Because Holy Quran has no sign-in and collects only anonymous data, most "opt-out" choices that other apps offer do not apply here — there is nothing to opt out of.

At a glance. Holy Quran does not sell your personal information, not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and not use it for behavioural advertising or profiling. There is no toggle to flip because none of these activities happen in the first place.

What we do NOT do

Choices you can exercise

Delete your server-side account. Email us your 6-character friend code (visible on the Friends tab inside the app) and we will permanently delete the corresponding record from our database. Because there is no sign-in, the friend code is the only way to identify your record.
Reset all data on your device. Open the app's Settings tab and tap Reset Progress, or uninstall the app to remove every locally stored value (bookmarks, streaks, lifetime page count, anonymous user ID).
Disable Location. Revoke location permission for Holy Quran in your device system settings. The Qibla compass and prayer-times features will stop working; the rest of the app continues normally. Note: location is computed on-device and never leaves your phone in the first place.
Disable Notifications. Turn off Reminders in the app's Settings tab, or revoke notification permission in your device system settings.
Request a copy of your data. Email us your friend code and we will reply with the small set of values stored on our server (anonymous user ID, friend code, display name, lifetime pages, streak, last-read page, friendships, challenges).

How to make a request

All requests are handled by email. Please include your 6-character friend code (from the Friends tab) so we know which record to act on. We respond within 30 days; deletions are usually completed within a few business days.

Regional notes

Because Holy Quran collects no real-world identifiers (no name, email, phone, address, payment info, or precise advertising identifier), most regional privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA / CPRA, etc.) have very narrow application to this app. The choices above satisfy the access, deletion, and opt-out rights provided by those frameworks.
